Mission Statement

The mission of Tampa Language Center, established in 1988, is to provide high-quality English language instruction in a positive, culturally-sensitive environment and to equip students with knowledge, skills, and experiences that help them achieve their personal and academic goals.

We teach students English so they can go to college, get their Master's degree, or Doctorate degrees at universities in the United States, but we also want to make sure that our students know everyday English too! TLC students who finish level 6 at our school will now be admitted at Hillsborough Community College, St. Leo University, State College of Florida and more without having to take an IELTS or TOEFL test! Our reputation is continuing to grow for all of the right reasons!
