About TLC Sarasota

English for college, career and everyday life

The mission of Tampa Language Center, established in 1988, is to provide high-quality English language instruction in a positive, culturally sensitive environment, and to equip students with the knowledge, skills and experiences that help them achieve their personal and academic goals.

We teach English so students can go to college, earn a master’s or doctorate at a U.S. university, and also use everyday English with confidence. Students who finish level 6 are admitted to schools such as Hillsborough Community College, St. Leo University and State College of Florida without an IELTS or TOEFL test, and our reputation keeps growing for all the right reasons.

Immerse yourself in another culture with our enthusiastic, dedicated teachers. We adapt to your schedule with classes that fit your professional needs and make learning easy, fun and rewarding. For business, test preparation or pleasure, learn in private, semi-private or group classes. We can also help you get a student visa.
